The Real Liddy James by Anne-Marie Casey
3.0

I'm not sure why I enjoyed this book. It's about a divorce lawyer / mother named Liddy who struggles to balance the demands of the two. Author Anne-Marie Casey's writing is the highlight more than the plot; it is quick and light and occasionally witty. In the end, Liddy makes the choice that is best for her... and helps perpetuate the idea that women cannot be mothers and professionals at the same time. Ouch.
