This was exactly what I wanted and what I needed. I've been in a bit of a slump but this really turned it around. It's so easy to listen to and I had so much fun. It was the perfect amount and exactly the type of angst that I love. There were a few things that bugged me a bit though.

The narrators volume varies wildly in moments that don't make sense so I was  constantly adjusting the volume. I picked up book specifically for the "telling brother" line in summary but it wasn't brought up until like 15% of the way into the book. There's little actual reason to not date since they're both adults and consenting and no one will force the brother to actually talk about his dislike of their relationship? Also we never see the parents reaction to them dating which I would have liked. The only other thing that bothered me enough to note was that sometimes the descriptions or lines were just so tacky I cringed- "you made me realize my hearts desires" or "(talking about a penis) "velvet soft and hard as steel".

That being said, I definitely recommend if you like forbidden romances that aren't truly forbidden, because I love trope but not if it goes too far.  I'm starting the sequel immediately and I hope this author has more writing because I really enjoyed
