The Lost Years by Mary Higgins Clark

3.0

I'll preface this by saying that I used to read modern day murder mysteries and thrillers a lot and I loved them; the last 4-5 years I haven't read any. So, I don't know if I would have liked any book in the genre or if this was good book. I may be bias.

While I thought that the villain probably did it, I never had a point in the book before I was supposed to where I thought, "yep, definitely him." I found some of the conversations to be corny but not enough to stop reading.

Over all I liked the book. My favorite characters were by far Alvirah and Willie; they seemed like they should have their own series.
