What interested me the most when I heard about this, is that it has a creepy forest. So did it deliver on that? Yesssss! Did a great job at creating the creepy and murderous forest. Although it looks like a red riding retelling, it's actually beauty and the beast, one of my favorites. It also has a sister dynamic plot that runs along side the main plot. The writing was also engaging, it's been a while since I forgot the time reading something.
Have to say, I was really surprised how much I liked it, considering all the recent ya fantasies ^^'
