The Lie That Binds by Amy Argent, Amy Argent

challenging dark emotional hopeful informative inspiring reflective sad tense fast-paced

4.0

Nathan, Holly, and the entire cast of characters are phenomenal in this story.  The author took time to fully develop each character's story, which makes the story all the more real.  Nathan is trying his best to hide himself and his condition from the entire school.  Unfortunately for him the new girl discovers his biggest fear.  This story teaches us very quickly the power that a lie can have, and how continuing to hold that lie creates more lies, leading to destruction!  This one gets a bit steamy so be forewarned!
