A Worthy Opponent by Katee Robert

I’d say I need a shower after finishing this book, but honestly? I’m not sure if a shower would cleanse me or just send me spiraling deeper into feral flashbacks. And honestly? I wouldn’t complain. If Tink and Hook were in that shower… throw in Geaton too, and I might never come out.

This might be the most plot-heavy book in the series so far, and I loved every second of it. Tink has completely stolen my heart—more than any other character we’ve read. Maybe I’m biased because I relate to her on such a deep level, but watching her actively work through her PTSD hit me hard. I hated how much I loved seeing her struggle and grow, especially the way Hook used BDSM not just as a tool for pleasure but as a way to help her heal.

There’s something incredibly raw and beautiful about the way kink is portrayed here—it’s honest, vulnerable, and empowering. I devoured every page.
