I've never read the novels these are apparently based on, but I loved the story and incorporation of famous historical figures/myths. The life lessons were cliche but still held my attention. Beautiful art as well. Didn't care for the oversimplification of all the side characters, some of whom have really negative archetypes as their entire personality. Also wish the side plots were explored/fleshed out more.
