I adore this author but I just have to say … I was
outraged in the second breakup .  This was all so far off base from who Jason was as a person.  I was furious that he pushed her away like that.  I thought that on one of his publicity gigs he should have went rogue and exposed his record company forcing them to sever ties and give the characters their HEA.

Yeah, I get it .. you got this big grand gesture moment at the end.  And sure there is some payoff there.  But it all kind of felt like the movie Rockstar to me at the end and I thought it cheapened the story.

Him coming to Lola’s rescue.  Gah. I’m sorry, call your handlers to get help.

This was a beautiful story of complicated grief and love and the twists in the third act just didn’t do it for me.  I’ll still read the next book because I love the love that she writes .

And I love that animals (sweet stuntman and Tucker !! ) are wrote so lovingly.  HEA should have included the new bff pups :)
