Nightingale's Lament
by Simon R. Green
Quite a good book, fast moving, engaging tale, with many small arcs covered under the overreaching arc, though some of the events were expected. but that comes with the territory after reading many books in the genre. Good, strong characters, enthralling events, and a good ending made for a satisfactory, if not amazing tale. 3.5 stars for this one. I must say, Simon does have a touch for dramatic and poignant endings. A fun book, all in all.
