Kink: Kitten play, daddy kink, praise, tickling, sensory play, impact play, edging, somnophilia
Kitten for Kinkmas is a sweet, hot Christmas story full of kink and tenderness. Written by an Australian author, the readers are brought to a summer Christmas celebration, barbecue included.
I loved this so much. For one, this had an element of slowburn where the kink awakening for Luca was slower, first with some self-exploration before some non-sexual play with Zoltan. The anxieties he had made sense, and we learn that Zoltan had his own — whether it be because of his age and difference in experiences, they had to work through these issues and be honest with each other. Despite those hiccups, the tenderness and sweetness was 100% worth it.
The scenes that followed? Hot. The kitten play was great and in detail like I’ve not seen it before, the sensory play was an amazing scene, and I loved the aftercare aspect to it. My only criticism could be that I wanted to see more on-page kink scenes, but that’s because I just want more of these two in general.
I liked that there wasn’t a big drama with exes and that there was learning the difference between loneliness and jealousy. The falling in love came quick but it seemed natural for these two. There are also some amazing and humorous quotes in here.
For those like me who prefer Christmas content to be on the lighter side, this isn’t a Hallmark-style Christmas where you can’t ever escape it. You also, if you’re American like me, get to learn about how Christmas might be celebrated in Australia and other small cultural aspects.
Overall, I highly recommend this book!
