“Sometimes we don’t get the time we think we have. we don’t get the years we deserve with the ones we love. we have to take the time we do have and make every second count, because that f*ck1ng clock stops before we’re ready, and we can’t get back time we waste dancing around each other. When the clock stops, it’s done. all we have is memories.”

Summary:
Bodie is a struggling dancer, struggling because she is her parents’ personal ATM, they terrorize her for every cent and everything she owns. She goes to visit her best friend Liam at a BDSM club he works at because he wants to offer a job, she leaves after he says something that hurts her, but Braun refuses to give up on her and makes an offer she can’t refuse and introduces her to a lifestyle she never knew she needed.

My Thoughts:
I liked it quite a bit. It has plot, character depth, and some spicy scenes that are super-hot. However, the first quarter of the book read more like a BDSM guidebook than a story and it kept pulling me out of it. And they made Bodie WAY too stubborn imo, she was hard to swallow at first. And then there were some cringe moments throughout the book as well. I will still be continuing this series, however at a later date.

Read this book if you:
- Are into erotica.
- Are in to BDSM.
- Love plot with your spice (this book is heavier on plot than spice)
- Love character depth.
- Love reading about dom/sub dynamics.

Happy reading besties 😊
