I enjoyed this book. Violet and Jake were really meant for each other. My greatest pleasure was the dialogue between Violet and Darren. My biggest disappointment was the sex scene between Violet and Adam. It just didn't make sense that a near virgin (1 prior partner years ago) would just have sex with a friend. And that scene was glossed over. I like to see and hear everything. I hate when things are in the background. I suspect that Adam is going to be in another book. Thats going to be awkward for the reader. I did like the paranormal possibilities the book suggests. The book affected me because you never know how people who are considered weird or Goth feel deep down. This book gives some insight. I was confused by the whole vision of Christian having sex with Jakes girlfriend. I thought the solving of Ben the ghost mystery was incomplete. Did Violet do what he wanted her to do? overall enjoyable read. I kind of hope Darren has a book.
