Mercy Watson, a porcine wonder, wakes in the middle of the night and trots downstairs to encounter a burglar! Her precious toaster is about to be stolen along with other kitchen items, but also Mercy wants delicious buttery toast. Mercy inadvertently saves the day with the help of the local fire and police departments, and the burglar decides to become a cowboy as he loved his ride on Mercy. A delightfully cute story with beautiful illustrations!
