Just a Little Gamble by Merry Farmer

4.0

I am loving this series and all of the families and characters. This book can be read as a standalone though! Samuel is a very successful composer in London and Cameron is a sweet man from the country who is now a clerk in London. Poor Cameron has some hard times and most of his family has disowned him. He wants to make a better life for himself and he wants a real life romance and relationship. Samuel is bit of a tougher one. He has had his own struggles to overcome to be a successful black man in these times so he is a bit more harden and not looking for love. Even through their struggles it is a wonderful journey to see the two of them grow together. I was always glad when Cameron stood his ground for what he really wanted!! It is told in both of their POV so get to feel how they adapt due to their feelings for one another! There is quite a bit of steam in this one as well! I received and ARC of this book and I recommend this story for anyone who enjoys a realistic journey of love in the Regency Era!
