A Court of Silver Flames by Sarah J. Maas

4.0

I started this one numerous times and finally finished it as a buddy read.

Though different from the previous in this series, I know it needed to be so.

Nesta is not Feyre. Her wounds and trauma are not the same. I appreciate how Maas tackled wartime PTSD in soldiers in a respectful and realistic manner. I also like how the childhood trauma was different even if growing up with the same parents, socioeconomic status, and environment.

This book was exactly what it needed to be. Thank you to the author for not making it exactly like the others and realizing these characters, these siblings are different all together. Now give me an Azriel book and make my dreams a reality.
