The Oresteia by Ted Hughes, Aeschylus

Now I have to imagine the scholarship on this one is at least as much a bloodbath as Agamemnon. This - I think - is Hughes' last (major) piece of writing ? I kind of want to know which theatre director though ha ha let's commission TH to translate the Oresteia because they're both a sadist & potentially brilliant. It's murky because it doesn't map precisely but my word is he just quoting Sylvia here - -- especially in Agamemnon & it can kind of work ! It's not horrendous I'm sorry classicists xxx though we have Problems with a capital P too
