 I get that this book will not be for everyone. Some will miss the humour. Some will miss the tragedy. Some will miss the honest truth of life with depression, anxiety, and intrusive thoughts. But some will also find peace and comfort in knowing that they are not alone. I found myself relating to a lot of the elements of this story, making note to write down some quotes for reference later. Personally, I missed a lot of the humour. In retrospect I can see it, but there’s was just too much truth in the rest of it for me, that it triggered mind wandering introspection and made me miss some of the finer points of the writing. This is definitely on my TBRA list.
