I initially picked this up assuming it was a standalone. While it can serve as one, what with the story coming to a close at the end of the book, it was so intricately laced with enough intrigue that I was clawing at a sequel. Turns out it <i>does</i> have one (more than one actually!!!) and I just AAAA
