Dirty Thirty
by Janet Evanovich
A solid entry in the Stephanie Plum series. This one read a bit more like a novel and less like a mystery, maybe because Morelli was out of town and Bob the Dog was able to dominate the narrative? Who knows. Anyway: the series does raise questions (when I take the time to reflect) beyond the Joe/Ranger issue: how old are they all supposed to be--that is, what's the time span these books are supposed to cover? What's Grandma Mazur's secret, since we're 30 years or so into the series? All the same: this is a fun one. Onwards!
