A “meh” read. I love the design of the physical copy book but the actual storyline is subpar. I found it a struggle to like much about the main characters.
Initially the stalking did have me nervous for the dark corners of my house but other than that… a self made vigilante who saves women & children and yet stalks and sexually assaults a woman, is too much hypocrisy for me. The constant “little girl” was cringe and the violence and force was unnecessary given Z’s apparent “aim in life” to protect women.
Her grandma’s murder storyline seems slightly pointless. As well as apparently ghosts in a creep house, irrelevant.
