Well this one was unnecessary. The series has run its course. If I had to read “10% below asking” on the mortgage one more time. The 11 year old was written in the story like she was at least 15. Being begged to go on a date over and over. She is 11. That’s gross. I felt like she was trying to pull a Lucinda Berry twist, but she’s no Berry. Millie got soft. Why would she allow Suzette to insult her over and over? She treats Enzo like he’s a child.
I’m going to give 3 stars because I wanted to see how it ended. Also, I’d like to know how an 11 year old was supposed to overpower a gown ass man and slit his throat with a pocketknife. That wasn’t believable at all. Nothing happened in the first half of the book.

Moderate: Emotional abuse, Murder
Minor: Pedophilia, Kidnapping
