A Secret for a Secret by Helena Hunting

5.0

This is my favourite book in the All In series. We follow Ryan Kingston, he is basically the perfect man in his polo and khakis. He follows the rules to the T, he does not get drunk, he does not sleep with random women, he obeys the speed limit until one night when he finds out that his sister is actually his mother (would fuck up anyone). He gets drunk at a bar and he meets a woman, Queenie.

When he wakes the next morning, she is gone but now he has the memory of their night. Everything seemed to be going about fine until he found out that Queenie is their general manager's daughter who would be working with the team. He freezes and he did not know what to do. So when she told him that they could neither see each other nor sleep together, he should have felt relief but he didn't.

I really like Ryan as a character, he is basically the dream. He had his baggage but he did not allow it to weigh him down, he was light-hearted and always willing to help, not to his detriment but because he was capable of doing so. I liked when he spoke to Queenie's father about wanting to date her. It might seem antiquated but he refused to date in secret. He was just an all well-rounded character that I would date.
