Batman: Arkham: Killer Croc by Jim Balent, Chuck Dixon, Curt Swan, Rodney Ramos, Kelley Jones, David Yardin, Tommy Castillo, Norm Breyfogle, Dan Jurgens, Jim Aparo, Mike Gustovich, Cliff Richards, Gabriel Hardman

3.0

I'm not sure if this is a 2.5 or a 3 star read.

I think the collection does its job and gives the reader a clear picture of Killer Croc and his origins. Overall, I would say the pacing for most of the issues dragged. The later storylines were more fast-paced and more interesting but I was so close to dnf-ing this book before I even reached the good ones. I think if one is a big fan of Killer Croc, give this book a go... otherwise, it's not worth it. I was always intrigued by Croc and I did find his background to be far more tragic and twisted than I expected. However, I don't think his introductory storyline from the 80s were particularly strong or does the character justice.
