The Black Prism by Brent Weeks

4.0

4 stars is a bit of an overstatment Gavin and Dazen are awesome. The mistery the inregue. Everything buuut Kip is a bit boring and repeptetive. I find it refresing that a character is overweight and is finding his way. But it’s weird to me personally how he deals with everything. He is obsessed with Liv and he’s so awkward.
But still a very good book packed with adventure and mostly well written characters.
Another thing is why do charters find their magic awing and so magical and so extraordinary. When its just a part of their lives and a prt of their world. I feel like it should be much more less awe inspiring. Also why do grafters need to find sponsors. Shouldn’t the school monopolist all the magic users more like in the wheel of time. Seems more logical than school being so expensive and grafters being treated like they’re slaves to the rich. Weird. But all together fun and interesting. Mystery and intrigue.
