Penalty by Jacob Chance is a new adult novel chronicling the story of Brady and Harlow. Brady is the star quarterback of the college football team. He’s the man every girl wants and he makes sure not to let them down. Harlow is smart, reserved, and the one girl that has the ability to resist Brady.
Penalty is a fun football romance. I love the back and forth between Harlow and Brady. I also enjoyed the build up during the story. I do feel that in some aspects the story seemed rushed or less developed. I would really like to have seen some follow up to storylines that were introduced but not fully explored. All in all this is a fun sports read. The characters are engaging and likable as well.
