The Lost Tomb: And Other Real-Life Stories of Bones, Burials, and Murder
by Douglas Preston
informative
medium-paced
The chapter on the Monster of Florence was too long. The chapter on Amanda Knox felt superfluous. The chapter about the day the dinosaurs died was fascinating, as was the part about genetics throughout history showing population shifts and conquests. The title story was very good, though recent enough it felt unfinished, as non-fiction can sometimes be.
