I definitely thought I was smarter than everyone else, so the last twist really threw me in a loop. I tried being ahead of everyone so I feel like I missed the obvious. 

The beginning is definitely a bit slow, and Chloe's confused state of mind doesn't make it easy. Maybe it was just my epub that's the problem, but sometimes it wasn't clear for me which passages were flashbacks and which were present time which made it difficult to follow at times. If it hadn't been for that, it would have been a five-star read for sure.
