Death Note: L, Change the World by M.
5.0
Such a satisfying ending. Though to be honest I like the anime ending more. It felt more complete.
However, the death scene with L playing chess with Watari was perfect and brought a tear to my eye. I like to think L, Light and Watari all hug it out on the other side.
The plot of this book wasn't as fast-paced as the BB case and the characterisation was less consistent - but it was still an excellent, thrilling, surprising read which I would recommend to any Death Note fan.
Nostalgic is probably the best word I can think of for this book. Would recommend.
Happy reading,
Gem.
