"You deserve the world, and if it isn't going to give it to you, then you go and take it"

This may be one of the less dramatic Toni Aleo stories, but it was still heartwarming. A lot of her stories are so dramatic and intense it was nice that this was a bit different and on the softer side. I'm also glad to see cameos of the Adler family. If I had it my way we'd get a book by every single one of them. Also, my heart still swoons over Shea Adler. When Sofia said he was good looking even with the greying hair my heart almost fell out of my chest just picturing one of Aleo's best characters.

Ryan Justice is Shea Adler's nephew. All he's ever wanted is to be in the NHL just like his favorite uncle. It's his senior year in college and he still hasn't been drafted and it's bringing him down. While he's going through that he meets his sister roommate Sofia Castilleja. A damn good gymnast and of course gorgeous. Their love story isn't over the top and wild. It's sweet and slow. Sofia is an amazing girl. Her positivity and confidence is just what Ryan is in need of. Her best trait is her selflessness. Ryan has some important life decisions to make and Sofia knows he needs to put that before her.

I really, really, really liked this story. I think their relationship depicted a good balance between two people. Both have strong wills and goals. Aleo taught us that sometimes it's okay if dreams change.
