Overcoming Anticipatory Anxiety: A CBT Guide for Moving past Chronic Indecisiveness, Avoidance, and Catastrophic Thinking by Sally M. Winston, Martin N. Seif

3.0

Overcoming Anticipatory Anxiety is not a science heavy look at the topic, instead it is written in a practical and understandable way.
The authors do lay out a way to DANCE with the feelings, sensations and thoughts that I wish would have had more practical examples and applications but overall if you are one who experiences anxiety in any form this book allows you to feel seen and gives you some very honest explanations as to what is happening and what to do to live with it. The work is not easy but it is worth it to not have anxiety leave you mind-paralysed.
