Shouting At The Rain by Lynda Mullaly Hunt, Lynda Mullaly Hunt

4.0

This book had great middle grade themes: a friendship growing apart, a new friendship, bullying, and assertiveness. It also touches upon themes of the a loss of family member, both temporary and long-term. This book has a lot of valuable information, including looking at the same situation and coming to different conclusions. You find what you look for. Vulnerability is good. Spend time with people who buoy you. Learn to speak up for yourself.

Overall, this was a great book.
