The Last Wolf

I think this author took a lot of inspiration from the Teen Wolf tv show. No, there are no teens, no Hales, no McCalls, no Stillinskis. But the world is quite similar, with families of born wolves, and hunters who kill them, and have a special type of bullet that's always fatal to shifters.
In this story, Cal's family was attacked by these hunters, and he runs hundreds of miles, where he finds his own mate, Joe. So the story is more about Joe learning about werewolves and mates, and trying to keep Cal safe from the hunters. The story was sweet, but it didn't really bring anything new to my own personal shifter table.
It was still good enough to read the next book though!
