Small in the City by Sydney Smith

5.0

I found this book to be very sweet. With few words but many beautiful illustrations, the book highlights the many struggles that may exist for someone or something within a big city. It leaves you guessing who the narrator is speaking to while also leaving you with a glimpse of hope in the end. Would be a great tool in an elementary classroom setting to exhibit context clues, predictions, and struggles of others.
