This was really good, I liked the main characters and thought their motivations were compelling. The story was heart breaking and came to a satisfying conclusion, and all the while the art style was gorgeous and reminiscent of the time period.
Graphic: Rape, Sexism, Sexual assault, Death, Blood, and Violence
Moderate: Misogyny, Grief, Racism, Police brutality, and Hate crime
Minor: Suicide attempt
The dead girl bears similarities to the Black Dahlia case, you find out she’s been working as a call girl whose been abused sexually and taken advantage of. Several other girls recount their experiences of similar events. The book has the mob in it and they do mob things, so some of the trigger warnings are for that.
