Hunter of Demons by Jordan L. Hawk

4.0

Really enjoyed this novella!

I got the 'SPECTR: The Complete First Series' on audible for 1 credit (awesome deal!). I'm reviewing the books individually because I'm not sure if I'll listen to the whole series in one go. And doing it this way lets me get my thoughts on each book out.

In this world there are prejudices, paranormals having to be registered (very x-men).

Caleb is possesed by a drakul called grey. The possesion is not full, caleb is still in control but sometimes Grey is able to come out.

John works for SPECTR, the group in charge of paranormal affairs. He's put in charge of Caleb when exorcism is unsuccessful. Grey is something they've never seen before.

This was such an enjoyable novella. I really liked Caleb and John's relationship, with Caleb not trusting John because of preconceived notions of SPECTR. The added element of Grey was also intriguing, it gave me [b:The Host|1656001|The Host (The Host, #1)|Stephenie Meyer|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1318009171l/1656001._SY75_.jpg|3328799] vibes with Wanda.

Now that I have the entire first series on audio, there's a high chance I'll binge it.
