I did enjoy this book, it felt at parts like I couldn't read fast enough to find out what was happening. Seeing Becky's story in the flashbacks only added to the tension you felt in Amy's search for her. Also I am a sucker for a book with a double ending so I was a fan of the conclusion of the book (and did not come close to guessing what had happened.)

One thing which I didn't like was the inclusion of Amy's past abusive relationship because I felt it added nothing to the story except attempting to give her a reason for not wanting a relationship. After reading Elizabeth Haynes' book Into The Darkest Corner, I felt that the attempt of an abusive relationship in this book was token and did not actually capture any of the fear felt in these relationships. The scene where Amy saw her ex in a restaurant in particular I felt made a mockery of the entire subplot. That is my reason for giving the book 4*. I felt the rest of the book was very good.
