I really wanted to like this book more than I did.  I think the idea is sound, but the execution was a little lacking.  There are so many characters in this book, and so many we only hear from a few times that it really bogs down the interesting parts.  There are a couple plot lines I really enjoyed and the others were a little meh.  I will say, ghost POV, very cool and unique, horse POV...added not very much to this book and seemed unnecessary.  Sadly, the afterward was the best part of the book, which is why I think the idea of this book is much better than the book itself.  I was just left feeling, "meh".
