I absolutely love half of a yellow sun, so I was obviously excited to read this new book. I won’t say it’s bad, but I guess it lacked the depth I was used to with other books from the writer. As I finished it, I felt like it was missing the mark. I don’t understand the point. Maybe I’ll need some time to digest and feel different about it in a bit, but this is my immediate reaction after reading it.
