I absolutely loved the first half of the book. The description of the time Oliver grew up in, his daily life, and the suffering that came with it, just a really good glimpse into the world he and so many other children were living in.
The second half was a bit of a letdown. I didn’t care at all about the big revelation of who he was, and I really didn’t care about all the ‘Misses Featherbottom, accompany me to the marketplace where we shall discuss our further inspections.‘ ‘Oh yes, Mr. Tinkelbin, absolutely, if my poor heart can handle all the excitement!’
