3.5

Solid 3.5-stars but didn't like it enough to round up to a 4-star. The beginning of this was much darker than I had anticipated for something toted as a cozy mystery. Finally by the end of it I was enjoying myself but given that I my interpretation of the cozy mysteries is essentially Jessica Fletcher in Cabot Cove, Maine, this was a bit of a shock.

If you like those mysteries, give it a read, but be prepared that it's heavier than those simple fluffy ones.
