It amazes me how the little novellas in the Wayward Children series make me feel like I've finished a 500-page novel every time. They're immersive and I so badly want to live in the Moors, a world that feels like 1950s Hammer horror films. This was a wonderful ending (?) to the story of mad scientist Jack and her aspiring vampire sister Jill. So much fun.
