This was such a good story. I loved the slow-build; by the time the conflict was resolved, it was easy to believe that yes, they really were in love, because of the time the author spent establishing that relationship and the friendship that happens between them first. Plus, the tension was sizzling through the whole thing, to the point where I thought that the kiss in chapter 9 was hotter than sex could have been.
It also did a great job of establishing the Bluewater Bay universe. I really enjoyed it.
