Good Fortune

This was a fun read. The author follows pride and prejudice plot points step by step, updating the primary setting to Chinatown Manhattan , early 2000s. - harking back to a pre-cellphone world. I don't know why i continue to read these P&P retellings, because most of them are pretty bad, but I thought this author was really successful here. My only gripe was the Lydia disaster in the end - as a minor, the legal and criminal repercussions for the Wickham character should have been severe - but otherwise, no complaints!
