The first half of this book was SO cute! Silly me thought this was a book about a mouse. It is not. It is a book about a human boy who just happens to LOOK like a mouse! Adorable, right? The beginning was very sweet and I enjoyed it, but the end just... happens. Right in the middle of his adventures. It just stops. That was disappointing, as I would have really liked a resolution, especially as he was on a mission, and we never get to see the completion? I feel like if you read this to a child, they would be asking, "What happened next?" leaving you saying "I have no idea". This is a bummer because the first half was so promising. Beginning 4 stars. Ending 2 stars.
