Zach and Lucy and the Museum of Natural Wonders by The Pifferson Sisters

3.0

This is on the longer, more challenging end of the beginning reader spectrum. It's a pretty standard story of two nice kids doing something creative. The book is notable because the brother and sister protagonists don't look alike (one blond and white, one brunette and brown) but it's not addressed at all in the text of the book. So I'd say this goes towards normalizing families that aren't all the same race, and that's pretty cool.
