Gary of a Hundred Days by Isabel Murray

2.0

Well now I’m sad because I wanted to like this novella and then I disliked it.

Let’s begin.

This novella follows overly innocent, sheltered, young Gareth “Gary”, a figurehead king whose friend betrayed him and used propaganda to fuel the flames for Gary the Innocent Bitch Dull King to become Gary the Raging Tyrant. Gary flees from a failed assassination attempt and runs into Magnus, his more experienced stable master who’s been quietly looking out for Gary, between screwing other men.

And Magnus reveals the reason he’s so drawn to Gary is that Gary is his bond mate.

After Gary being shown repeatedly all the times Magnus screwed other men.

You know.

As one does.
