once again, john wiswell writes an ending that makes me cry. the only problem i have with Wearing the Lion is that it feels a bit anachronistic for Athena to be explicitly labeled as asexual, rather than that being described in more time-period-accurate terms, but that’s a small complaint. otherwise this book is an absolutely fantastic exploration about how your past actions don’t have to define you <3
