This story was beautiful. The way it tackled topics of depression, grief, anger, guilt, loss and forgiveness were so well done. I don’t think I’ve read something that included so many emotions that were handled with so much information and done with equal care. I learned so much from this story.
With that said, the reason I didn’t rate it higher was because after I was done I felt like I never really connected with the characters. I appreciated and empathized with them during their struggles but I wasn’t fully invested. Something just never clicked for me, unfortunately.
