This is a fast-paced and creative thriller with some surprising twists. I read most of the book in one day, so it definitely keeps you engaged with the suspense.
I liked hearing the multiple perspectives, but Christopher, the serial killer's character, felt a lot less strong than the others. He felt like a tool for shock value and there was some underlying saneism in how he was written. I am just really over the whole "psychopath serial killer" trope in the genre.
The premise of the book is also deeply rooted in cissexism, compulsory monogamy, biological essentialism, and the pedestaling of romantic relationships.
I would recommend this book if you're looking for a page turner with some cross-genre elements. It definitely delivers in that regard.
