Not Too Late: Changing the Climate Story from Despair to Possibility by Rebecca Solnit, Thelma Young Lutunatabua
5.0

I’ve been on a real anthology kick lately. I read Hope in the Dark last year and it really saved me from existential dread. Not Too Late has essays from the coolest people on the forefront of climate activism and something I really appreciate is that it holds all forms of work equal. Storytelling, activism, academia, policy, Not Too Late seems to argue that we all have our battles and we’ll need everyone. It makes a very similar argument as Michelle Alexander’s essay We Are Not the Resistance. Everyone working towards a sustainable future has history on their side, it’s fossil fuel companies, climate deniers and other elites who are the minority resistance, trying to delay change that they’ve already accepted is inevitable.
